Verre eglomise, painting on the reverse side of glass, is a technique that dates back to pre-Roman eras and has been used throughout Europe since the 15th century. The technique was revived by French decorator and art dealer Jea-Baptiste Glomy in the 18th century.

And the last 75 years, our master artisans at Atelier Eglomise have worked closely with museums and private collectors round the world in restoration projects of antiques and decorative glassware.
